Website Development to Boost Commerce in San Juan Sacatepéquez

This year in the Waves Project in Guatemala, students from the Enrique Novella Alvarado School in the San Gabriel campus developed a website to boost commerce in San Juan Sacatepéquez. A project based on the use of an “eco-iron” to dry flower petals for art was presented, led by the Eco-artists Mixqueños group from the afternoon shift of the Municipal Education Center of Mixco.

Another project is a sustainable irrigation system for gardens in educational centers, presented by the ErgonomicInc team from the Municipal Education Center of Mixco. The Vision Renovada team from the Municipal Workshop School of Guatemala City participated with a project for making artisanal jellies.

The ENA San Miguel team, made up of students from the Enrique Novella Alvarado School in the San Miguel, El Progreso campus, worked on knowledge transfer to reinforce math learning in nearby community educational centers.
